The Stiltz Home Elevator is an innovative and unique residential elevator that can fit easily into your home. These residential elevators are designed to help you stay in the home you love when the stairs become too much. Attractive and effective, the home elevators are an affordable alternative to a stair lift.

Residential elevators by Stiltz can also improve your lifestyle if you are looking for a faster and more convenient way of getting between floors. Unlike stairlifts, these spacious in-home lifts can carry two or three people and a wheelchair if required. You can even fit in a vacuum cleaner and the family pet too!

Aim High – The Ultimate in Residential Elevators

Stiltz Home Elevators offers you a simple and easy way of moving safely between floors. Considered a practical and attractive alternative to a stairlift, a Stiltz Home Elevator keeps you living independently in the home you love without moving. Whether you live in a townhome, modern colonial, or waterfront condo, our residential elevators can be installed in just one day in virtually any two-story home in the USA.

Unlike traditional home elevators, Stiltz Home Elevators are freestanding and require no hydraulics or supporting walls. These residential elevators run on a standard dedicated 220 volt 15 amp wall outlet like any major appliance.

The home lifts travel ‘through the floor’ on self-supporting dual rails, eliminating the need for a shaft. Each Stiltz home elevator includes top-of-the-line safety features that allow the user to stay mobile, even during a power outage!

Duo Alta

The Duo Alta Home Elevator is the perfect alternative to a stair lift or conventional hydraulic elevator. Capable of taking two passengers between floors in under 30 seconds, the Duo Alta offers freedom and flexibility that cannot be matched.

Trio Alta

The Trio Alta has an innovative design that can comfortably accommodate a wheelchair, while remaining compact and pleasant to the eye.

Typical Home Elevator Applications

Standard Retrofit

Common installations of Stiltz home elevators occur in a downstairs room, such as a hallway or family room. The home elevator then travels upwards, into a room such as the bedroom or landing.

Stairwell Void

One of the unique aspects about Stiltz home lifts is that it has been designed to ensure there is enough room for the lift to be installed within a turning staircase. This is made possible by the elevator’s compact footprint and shape.

Closet to Closet

Stiltz elevator lifts are spacious but compact enough that they can often be fitted in a closet on both floors. This installation can make the best use of space in a home and is ideal for customers looking to conceal the residential elevator.

Thru-Car

The Stiltz Duo and Trio elevators are capable of thru car configuration, exclusive to their lifts. This means entering on one side of the lift on ground level and leaving from the other side on the first floor is possible.

Sloped/Cathedral Ceiling

To install one of our residential elevators in a sloped or cathedral ceiling, the rails need a horizontal surface to fix to but some simple building modifications by our installers will make it possible to fit the Stiltz elevator in this way.

Garage

Placing a residential elevator in your garage is a great way of providing you with quick and safe access into your property. This application will require the construction of a simple shaft to be built around the elevator in the garage.
