Operation Overview – Model 133

• The door opener is electro-mechanical, offering both powered opening and powered closing.

• When not activated, the system’s clutch automatically disengages, allowing for free manual door operation without resistance.

Automatic Cycle Function

• The unit supports an open–hold–close cycle, adjustable between 5 and 30 seconds.

• This cycle is triggered by either:

  • A signal from the built-in radio receiver, or

  • The momentary closure of wired electrical contacts.

• If the door receives another signal during the cycle, the system will interrupt the sequence and disengage to a neutral, inactive state.

• If left open and inactive, the door can be closed remotely by sending another signal.

Optional Mode: Auto-Close After Manual Opening

An Auto-Close mode is available to automatically close the door after it has been opened manually. This feature is useful in situations where doors are frequently left open.

It can be activated in one of three ways:

1. Via wired input – Disrupt internal contact continuity with an external wire connection.

2. Through installation setup – Configure contact discontinuity during the installation process.

3. By removing power – Disconnect the 24 VAC external power to engage this mode.

Door mounted for inward and outward opening doors in either right-hand or left-hand hinged configurations. (Ceiling clearance 1 1/4” minimum between door and ceiling). Lintel mounted for inward and outward opening doors in either right-hand or left-hand hinged configurations.

Activation may occur by a coded signal from the transmitter or by the wireless security entry system. Activation contacts are provided within the unit for remote wired activation from any device providing momentary continuity such as touch plates, push plates, mats, or infrared motion sensors.

Full 1-Year Warranty
For the first year after purchase, Open Sesame Door Systems, Inc. will repair, replace, or exchange any factory-supplied component of the door operator at no charge. The method of repair or replacement is determined solely by Open Sesame.

5-Year Limited Warranty
After the first year, parts remain covered for an additional five years on a limited basis. During this period, Open Sesame will repair, replace, or exchange factory-supplied components for a flat fee not exceeding $450.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not include:

• Batteries for remote controls

• The internal backup battery in the operator

• Damage from misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs

• Incidental or consequential damages (unless prohibited by state law)
